Seth did a great job setting my new pendant Lights. Very professional and reasonably priced.
Thank you Seth for your professionalism and explaining the work to be done in detail. Definitely recommend their small business for all electrical needs.
We hired this electrician for our breaker panel replacement in Dallas after buying an older home. The existing panel wasn’t up to code and couldn’t support the modern appliances that got installed by the previous owner. They installed a new electrical service panel, whole home surge protection & hosted a city inspection. He explained everything very clearly. If you’re in need of a home electrical panel upgrade, I highly recommend them. The work was clean, efficient and the whole process was stress-free. Great experience from start to finish thanks guys!
Wallace Electric replaced some lighting fixtures as well as hung new ones for me at a reasonable price. They were able to come out the day after our estimate and even being behind schedule, were still able to finish the job. Everything looks exactly as I hoped. Highly recommend this family business.
These guys are awesome - I was painting for a customer and removed the can lights to remove popcorn texture, however they required some adjustment because of the new ceiling height. Wallace was hired by the customer to do other light renovations and so I asked them if they could add on a small scope. I know this was a big ask because it's always difficult to change your scope of work especially late at night as they were ( the customer was moving in the next day and working hard to add extra touches). But their service was awesome and obviously very skilled because the modification was quick and professional and the customer loved the seamless service. I also found the prices very affordable and would continue to do business with them.
Seth did an awesome job installing two ceiling fans. He did a great job of answering other questions I asked him. He was very friendly and respectful. He wired a Blink doorbell for free. Other companies where charging me $50 to connect two wires. I definitely would recommend using them and I will use them again if I need additional service.
I cannot say enough how great Wallace electric is, they came very fast at 10pm at night, we had an emergency and lost power in all outlets and lights. They had everything up and running in no time. Great attitudes, very smart, highly knowledgeable, nice guys. I will be using them in the future 110%, this is the type of company that is a gem and I very highly recommend them. They let u know all pricing up front, no hidden fees, answered all my questions, gave quotes for future projects. If you are needing an electrician in down, then call Wallace electric, I know I will.
I needed an outlet installed in my garage for my fridge and they installed it for me. Very fast and professional.
I had a fan transferred from master bedroom to game room and a new fan placed in the master bedroom. He was in and out like a breeze. Answered all questions and explained everything clearly. The best part is they are a local family owned business in my area.
Seth replaced 5 outlets, a few breaker switches, and fixed some broken switches and added grounding to them. He was very professional, explained what he was doing, and did everything up to code. We also got a promotional discount and a 2-year warranty. Overall a very pleasant experience and I'll be using the company if anything should happen in the future.
They rewired my house, and the customer service was exceptional and they accommodated all my needs, and answered all my questions. And did great work.
trustworthy! great work! They replaced my electrical panel and switches! they were very very professional would recommend!
Seth did a great job fixing my wiring in our breaker box and upgrading our ceiling fan. Fast worker and super friendly!
I was having some built in shelves installed that required an outlet. Caleb came recommended from my installer. Caleb set up an appointment and came out that next week. Caleb and his partner came on time and got right to work. They were absolutely great to work with. They were professional and treated my home with respect. The outlet was installed to the exact specifications that was needed by the installer. After they were done they made sure everything was I working order and then cleaned up. I was highly impressed. I will definitely be using his services again and will recommend him to my friends and family.

Home Theater Installation Service
A home theater turns an ordinary room into a truly immersive entertainment space, but it depends entirely on having proper electrical wiring to work safely. The equipment in any home theater, from the display to the receiver to the surround speakers, needs clean, reliable power and very careful wiring. Wallace Electric provides professional home theater installation for homes of all kinds throughout Burleson and the surrounding communities we serve. A well designed home theater hides all of the wiring out of sight, delivers stable power, and protects your valuable equipment from damaging surges. Our licensed electricians handle the entire electrical side of your home theater project, from dedicated circuits to clean in wall wiring. They run both the power and the signal wiring cleanly inside the walls in order to give you a truly finished, professional look. They install dedicated circuits so your sensitive equipment always has the stable power it needs without any interference. They also add proper surge protection to guard your investment against the serious damage that power surges can cause. The end result is a home theater that looks clean, performs beautifully, and protects your equipment for many years. Proper home theater wiring is exactly what separates a clean professional installation from a tangled mess of visible cords.
A dedicated home theater room has several very specific electrical needs that an ordinary standard room simply does not have. The main display, be it a large flat screen television or a projector, always needs a properly placed power outlet. A projector that is mounted up on the ceiling needs both the power and signal wiring run all the way to that location. A receiver and all of the related components need outlets, often grouped together in a cabinet or a dedicated equipment area. Surround sound speakers need their speaker wiring carefully run through the walls to each and every speaker location. Subwoofers and powered speakers will each need their own dedicated power outlets located right near their placement. Wall mounted displays need a recessed outlet placed behind the screen to hide the cords completely from view. Each one of these elements requires wiring that is carefully planned around your specific layout and equipment. Our electricians always design the entire wiring layout around exactly how you want your home theater arranged. This careful and detailed planning ensures that every single component has the power and connections it needs.
Hiding all of the wiring completely out of sight is genuinely one of the most valued parts of a professional home theater installation. Nothing ruins the clean look of a finished home theater quite like a tangle of visible cords and cables. We run both the power and the signal wiring inside the walls so that nothing at all is left visible. For a wall mounted display, we install a recessed outlet right behind the screen to fully hide the power cord. We then run all of the signal cables neatly through the wall from the display down to the equipment area. For a ceiling mounted projector, we carefully run all the power and cables cleanly through the ceiling and the walls. We always plan the entire wiring routing carefully to keep everything both hidden and accessible for the future. This careful in wall wiring gives your whole home theater a clean, finished, professional appearance throughout. It also keeps all the cords safely out of reach and reduces both clutter and tripping hazards. The end result is a home theater that looks every bit as good as it performs.
Dedicated circuits are a very important part of any high quality home theater installation. Home theater equipment is quite sensitive and benefits greatly from having stable, clean, consistent power. A dedicated circuit serves only your home theater equipment and nothing else at all. This prevents any other devices on the same shared circuit from causing interference or sudden voltage drops. A receiver, an amplifier, or a powered subwoofer can each draw quite a significant amount of power during normal use. A dedicated circuit ensures that all of this equipment has the steady, reliable power it truly needs. It also prevents your home theater equipment from tripping breakers that are shared with other rooms. Our electricians can install one or more dedicated circuits that are properly sized for all of your home theater equipment. This gives your entire system the clean, reliable power that high quality audio and video genuinely demand. The difference this makes in both performance and reliability is genuinely well worth the investment.
Surge protection is absolutely essential for protecting all of the valuable electronic equipment in your home theater. A home theater can represent a significant investment in expensive displays, receivers, and speakers. A single power surge can damage or even completely destroy all of this expensive equipment in just an instant. Surges can come from nearby lightning strikes, utility switching, and large appliances cycling on and off. Whole house surge protection installed right at the main panel guards your entire home, including the home theater. A point of use surge protector then adds yet another important layer of defense right at the equipment rack itself. Together, these two measures provide strong, layered protection for absolutely all of your sensitive electronics. Our electricians can also install reliable surge protection to guard your entire home theater investment. This kind of protection is genuinely inexpensive when compared to the cost of replacing damaged equipment. We help you fully protect all of your equipment so you can enjoy it for many years to come.
A home theater installation is always best planned before the room is fully finished, but we can certainly work with already existing rooms too. In new construction or during a major remodel, we run all of the wiring while the walls are still open. This is by far the easiest time to install all of the wiring cleanly and completely. For an existing finished room, we use a number of proven techniques to run all the wiring with minimal disruption. We fish the wiring through the walls and use small, strategic access points to limit any damage. We plan the wiring routing very carefully to keep any needed patching to an absolute minimum. Either way, we always deliver a clean, tidy, and genuinely professional installation in the end. Our electricians will carefully assess your particular room and then recommend the best possible approach for it. We work with your existing space to give you exactly the kind of home theater you want. This kind of flexibility means that a great home theater is possible in nearly any room of your home.

The Importance of a Licensed Electrician for Home Theater Installation in Burleson, TX
A home theater involves electrical work that deserves the expertise of a licensed electrician. A licensed professional runs the wiring safely and to code inside your walls. In Texas, electrical licensing is regulated by the state to protect homeowners from unqualified work. A licensed electrician installs dedicated circuits sized for your equipment. They run the power and signal wiring cleanly and safely behind the walls. They install surge protection to guard your valuable electronics. They know the code requirements for the wiring they install. They pull any permits and schedule the inspections the work requires. Commonly Asked Home Theater Installation Questions
Home theater installation raises several practical questions about wiring, circuits, and equipment. The answers below address the topics homeowners across Burleson ask us about most often.
The cost to wire a home theater depends on several factors unique to your project. The size and layout of the room affect the amount of wiring needed. The number of components and speakers determines the wiring and outlets required. Whether you need a dedicated circuit or surge protection affects the cost. Running wiring in an existing room versus an open wall affects the labor. Hiding wiring for a wall mounted display or projector adds to the work. The complexity of the layout influences the overall scope. Because every home theater differs, Wallace Electric provides a clear written quote before any work begins.
Several elements make up the total cost of home theater wiring. The wiring, outlets, and materials are part of the price. The labor reflects the skill and time required for clean, hidden wiring. Running wiring through finished walls takes more time than open walls. Adding dedicated circuits and surge protection adds to the scope. The speaker wiring for surround sound adds to the work. We assess all of these factors before quoting so there are no surprises. Financing options are available to make a larger project easier on your budget.
The most accurate way to learn your cost is to have a licensed electrician evaluate your room. We discuss your equipment, layout, and what you want to achieve. We assess the wiring, circuits, and protection your setup requires. From there, we build a transparent estimate that lists each part of the work clearly. You will know exactly what you are paying for before we begin. We never add hidden charges once the job is underway. This honest approach has earned the trust of homeowners throughout Burleson. Call Wallace Electric today for an accurate home theater wiring quote.
A home theater strongly benefits from having its own dedicated circuit. Home theater equipment is sensitive and needs stable, clean power. A dedicated circuit serves only the home theater and nothing else. This prevents other devices from causing interference or voltage drops. A receiver, amplifier, or subwoofer can draw significant power during use. A dedicated circuit ensures this equipment has the steady power it needs. It also prevents the theater from tripping breakers shared with other rooms. For a quality home theater, a dedicated circuit is well worth it.
The benefits of a dedicated circuit go beyond just reliability. Clean power improves the performance of sensitive audio and video equipment. Voltage drops from shared circuits can affect picture and sound quality. A dedicated circuit removes these issues for consistent performance. It also handles the power demands of a full home theater system. This is especially important for systems with powerful amplifiers. The dedicated circuit supports the equipment without strain. This protects both the performance and the equipment itself.
Our electricians install dedicated circuits sized for your home theater. We assess your equipment and its power requirements. We size the circuit to handle the full load with room to spare. We run the circuit from the panel to your equipment area. We confirm your panel can support the new circuit. We install everything to the National Electrical Code. We test the circuit to confirm it works correctly. For a dedicated home theater circuit, trust the team at Wallace Electric.
Yes, hiding the wires is one of our specialties for home theaters. For a wall mounted TV, we install an outlet behind the screen. This hides the power cord completely out of sight. We run the signal cables through the wall from the TV to the equipment area. The result is a clean wall with no visible cords. For a ceiling mounted projector, we run power and cables through the ceiling. This gives the projector clean, hidden connections. Either way, the wiring is invisible for a professional look.
Hiding the wiring requires running it inside the walls and ceiling. We plan the routing to keep everything hidden and accessible. We use proper in wall rated cabling for the signal connections. We install the outlets and connections at the right locations. We keep the access points small to minimize patching. The result is a finished look with no cords in sight. This is a major part of what makes a professional installation. It transforms the appearance of your home theater.
Our electricians handle the hidden wiring cleanly and correctly. We run the power and signal wiring inside the walls. We install recessed outlets behind displays to hide cords. We route cables for projectors through the ceiling and walls. We plan everything to keep the wiring out of sight. We keep the work clean and the patching minimal. The result is a home theater that looks polished and professional. To hide the wires in your home theater, contact Wallace Electric.
Yes, surge protection is highly recommended for any home theater. A home theater represents a significant investment in expensive equipment. A single power surge can damage or destroy that equipment instantly. Surges come from lightning, utility switching, and large appliances. Surge protection guards your valuable electronics against this danger. The cost of protection is small compared to replacing damaged equipment. For sensitive home theater gear, surge protection is a wise investment. It gives you peace of mind that your equipment is protected.
Layered surge protection provides the best defense. Whole house surge protection at the panel guards your entire home. This stops large surges before they reach your equipment. Point of use surge protection adds another layer at the equipment. This catches smaller surges that get past the first layer. Together, these provide comprehensive protection for your electronics. This layered approach is the standard for protecting sensitive equipment. Our electricians can install both layers for full protection.
Our electricians install surge protection to guard your home theater. We can install whole house surge protection at your panel. We can recommend point of use protection for your equipment. We assess your setup and recommend the right protection. We install everything correctly and to code. We explain how the protection guards your equipment. This protects your investment from costly surge damage. To protect your home theater with surge protection, contact Wallace Electric.
Yes, we can wire a home theater in an existing finished room. While open walls make wiring easier, we have techniques for finished rooms. We fish the wiring through the walls and ceiling. We use strategic access points to run the wiring with minimal damage. We plan the routing to keep any patching to a minimum. This lets us deliver a clean installation in an existing space. The result looks just as professional as one in new construction. A great home theater is possible in nearly any room.
Working in an existing room requires skill and planning. We assess the room to plan the best wiring routes. We use existing wall cavities and access points where possible. We keep the openings small and tidy for easy patching. We run the wiring cleanly to keep everything hidden. We work carefully to protect your finishes and furnishings. This careful approach minimizes the disruption to your home. The finished result is a clean, professional home theater.
Our electricians make home theater wiring in existing rooms straightforward. We evaluate your room and plan the least invasive approach. We run the power, signal, and speaker wiring with minimal disruption. We hide the cords for a clean, finished look. We install dedicated circuits and surge protection as needed. We keep the work clean and the patching minimal. The result is a home theater that looks built in. For a home theater in your existing room, contact Wallace Electric.
The number of outlets a home theater needs depends on your equipment. The display needs an outlet, whether a TV or a projector. The equipment area needs outlets for the receiver and components. A powered subwoofer needs its own outlet near its location. Powered speakers may need outlets at their placements. The more components you have, the more outlets you need. We plan the outlets around your specific equipment and layout. The goal is to have power where each component needs it.
Proper outlet placement matters as much as the number. An outlet behind a wall mounted display hides the power cord. Outlets in the equipment area keep the components powered and organized. Outlets near subwoofers and powered speakers avoid long cords. Outlets on a dedicated circuit provide clean, stable power. We place the outlets where they serve the equipment best. This planning keeps the installation clean and functional. The right outlets in the right places make the system work smoothly.
Our electricians plan the outlets around your home theater setup. We discuss your equipment and how you want it arranged. We place outlets where each component needs power. We install an outlet behind the display to hide the cord. We add outlets in the equipment area and near speakers. We put the outlets on a dedicated circuit for clean power. This ensures your home theater has the power it needs everywhere. For the right outlets for your home theater, contact Wallace Electric.
Yes, we run the wiring for ceiling mounted projectors. A ceiling projector needs both power and signal wiring run to it. We run the power wiring through the ceiling to the projector location. We run the signal cables from the projector back to the equipment area. We do this cleanly inside the ceiling and walls. The result is a projector with no visible cords. This gives your home theater a clean, professional appearance. Running this wiring correctly takes experience and planning.
A ceiling projector installation involves specific considerations. The projector location must align with the screen properly. The power outlet must be placed at the projector mount. The signal cables must reach the equipment area cleanly. We plan the routing through the ceiling and walls. We use proper in ceiling rated cabling for the connections. We keep the wiring hidden for a finished look. This careful planning ensures a clean, functional installation.
