Seth did a great job setting my new pendant Lights. Very professional and reasonably priced.
Thank you Seth for your professionalism and explaining the work to be done in detail. Definitely recommend their small business for all electrical needs.
We hired this electrician for our breaker panel replacement in Dallas after buying an older home. The existing panel wasn’t up to code and couldn’t support the modern appliances that got installed by the previous owner. They installed a new electrical service panel, whole home surge protection & hosted a city inspection. He explained everything very clearly. If you’re in need of a home electrical panel upgrade, I highly recommend them. The work was clean, efficient and the whole process was stress-free. Great experience from start to finish thanks guys!
Wallace Electric replaced some lighting fixtures as well as hung new ones for me at a reasonable price. They were able to come out the day after our estimate and even being behind schedule, were still able to finish the job. Everything looks exactly as I hoped. Highly recommend this family business.
These guys are awesome - I was painting for a customer and removed the can lights to remove popcorn texture, however they required some adjustment because of the new ceiling height. Wallace was hired by the customer to do other light renovations and so I asked them if they could add on a small scope. I know this was a big ask because it's always difficult to change your scope of work especially late at night as they were ( the customer was moving in the next day and working hard to add extra touches). But their service was awesome and obviously very skilled because the modification was quick and professional and the customer loved the seamless service. I also found the prices very affordable and would continue to do business with them.
Seth did an awesome job installing two ceiling fans. He did a great job of answering other questions I asked him. He was very friendly and respectful. He wired a Blink doorbell for free. Other companies where charging me $50 to connect two wires. I definitely would recommend using them and I will use them again if I need additional service.
I cannot say enough how great Wallace electric is, they came very fast at 10pm at night, we had an emergency and lost power in all outlets and lights. They had everything up and running in no time. Great attitudes, very smart, highly knowledgeable, nice guys. I will be using them in the future 110%, this is the type of company that is a gem and I very highly recommend them. They let u know all pricing up front, no hidden fees, answered all my questions, gave quotes for future projects. If you are needing an electrician in down, then call Wallace electric, I know I will.
I needed an outlet installed in my garage for my fridge and they installed it for me. Very fast and professional.
I had a fan transferred from master bedroom to game room and a new fan placed in the master bedroom. He was in and out like a breeze. Answered all questions and explained everything clearly. The best part is they are a local family owned business in my area.
Seth replaced 5 outlets, a few breaker switches, and fixed some broken switches and added grounding to them. He was very professional, explained what he was doing, and did everything up to code. We also got a promotional discount and a 2-year warranty. Overall a very pleasant experience and I'll be using the company if anything should happen in the future.
They rewired my house, and the customer service was exceptional and they accommodated all my needs, and answered all my questions. And did great work.
trustworthy! great work! They replaced my electrical panel and switches! they were very very professional would recommend!
Seth did a great job fixing my wiring in our breaker box and upgrading our ceiling fan. Fast worker and super friendly!
I was having some built in shelves installed that required an outlet. Caleb came recommended from my installer. Caleb set up an appointment and came out that next week. Caleb and his partner came on time and got right to work. They were absolutely great to work with. They were professional and treated my home with respect. The outlet was installed to the exact specifications that was needed by the installer. After they were done they made sure everything was I working order and then cleaned up. I was highly impressed. I will definitely be using his services again and will recommend him to my friends and family.

Commercial Electric Service
Commercial electrical systems carry far heavier demands than the wiring found in a typical home, so they require a different level of planning and skill. A business depends on reliable power for lighting, equipment, climate control, point of sale systems, and the daily operations that keep revenue flowing. When the power fails or a circuit faults, a commercial property can lose productivity, inventory, and customers within minutes. Wallace Electric provides commercial electrical service for businesses of every size and type throughout Burleson and the surrounding communities. We serve offices, retail stores, restaurants, warehouses, medical facilities, and many other commercial properties across the North Texas region. Each kind of business carries its own electrical needs, its own strict code requirements, and its own daily operating pressures to consider. Our licensed electricians understand those differences and tailor every solution to the specific way that your business actually runs. We handle new installations, full system upgrades, urgent repairs, and ongoing preventive maintenance with the same care on every job. From a single faulty circuit to a complete electrical fit out, we bring the right expertise to the task. That breadth of experience is what makes us a dependable partner for commercial work throughout North Texas.
Commercial power distribution is more complex than the simple panel found in most houses, and it demands a real understanding of three phase systems. Many businesses run on three phase power, which delivers electricity far more efficiently to heavy equipment, large machines, and demanding motor loads. This kind of power feeds machinery, large rooftop HVAC units, commercial refrigeration, and the heavy industrial equipment that homes never use. Our electricians install and service three phase panels, transformers, switchgear, and distribution equipment with the precision these systems require. We carefully size conductors, breakers, and feeders to match the real and measured demands of your particular commercial load. A single miscalculation in a commercial system can lead to overheating, equipment damage, and costly unplanned downtime. We perform detailed load calculations to confirm your distribution equipment can comfortably support both current and future needs. As businesses grow and steadily add new equipment, the original electrical system often falls behind what the operation now requires. We evaluate your existing capacity honestly and recommend the upgrades that will keep pace with your growing electrical demand. Getting the distribution right from the start is the solid foundation that everything else in a commercial system depends upon.
Code compliance carries even greater weight in a commercial setting than in a residential one. Commercial buildings must satisfy the National Electrical Code along with local amendments, strict fire codes, and important accessibility requirements. Inspectors examine commercial work especially closely, since these properties serve employees, paying customers, and members of the public every day. A single failed inspection can delay an opening, halt construction, and cost a business real money every day it drags on. Wallace Electric knows the commercial code requirements that apply in Burleson and across the surrounding jurisdictions where we work. We pull all the proper permits, perform the work fully to code, and coordinate the inspections that your project requires. Emergency lighting, illuminated exit signage, and proper circuit protection are never optional extras but genuine legal requirements. We make certain these vital life safety systems are installed correctly and function exactly the way the code demands. Documentation matters greatly in commercial work, since it supports your insurance, your lease agreement, and your certificate of occupancy. We handle the entire compliance side carefully so your business stays legal, protected, and always ready to operate.
Lighting plays a major role in nearly every commercial electrical project we take on for our clients. The right lighting improves workplace safety, boosts employee productivity, and powerfully shapes how customers experience your space. We design and install lighting for offices, showrooms, warehouses, parking lots, and the exterior areas that frame your property. Energy efficient LED lighting has transformed commercial spaces by cutting power costs sharply and slashing ongoing maintenance needs. Upgrading older, inefficient fixtures to modern LED systems often pays for itself through lower utility bills over time. We can retrofit your existing fixtures or design a completely new lighting layout suited to your particular operation. Proper lighting controls, including occupancy sensors and programmable timers, add further savings by reducing wasted energy throughout the day. Parking lot and security lighting protect your property and give both employees and customers real peace of mind after dark. We size and place each fixture to deliver even illumination without the harsh glare or shadowy dark spots that cause problems. Smart commercial lighting is one of the most reliable ways to lower operating costs while improving the workspace.
Downtime is the enemy of every business, so we approach all commercial repairs with real urgency and skill. A tripped main, a failed circuit, or a badly damaged panel can completely shut down operations until power is restored. Our electricians diagnose commercial electrical problems quickly and accurately to get your business running again fast. We trace faults to their origin, test the affected equipment, and repair the issue at its true source rather than applying a temporary fix. Commercial systems are inherently complex, so an accurate diagnosis takes both deep knowledge and the right professional testing equipment. We carry the experience needed to work safely on energized commercial gear when the situation calls for it. Preventive maintenance helps avoid these stressful emergencies by catching small problems early before they become major failures. We offer tailored maintenance programs that inspect panels, test connections, and identify worn components on a regular schedule. Scheduled maintenance protects your equipment, extends its working life, and meaningfully reduces the risk of an unexpected shutdown. When an emergency strikes without warning, our electricians remain available around the clock to restore your power as fast as possible.
Commercial properties often need specialized electrical work that reaches beyond standard wiring and basic lighting. We install dedicated circuits for heavy equipment, commercial kitchen appliances, and the demanding industrial machinery that keeps many businesses running. Data cabling and low voltage wiring support the networks, phones, and security systems that virtually every modern business relies upon. We wire server rooms, install backup power systems, and integrate standby generators that keep your most critical operations running through any outage. Whole building surge protection guards commercial equipment against the damaging spikes that can destroy sensitive electronics in an instant. We install EV charging stations for forward thinking businesses that want to serve customers and employees driving electric vehicles. Tenant improvements and full build outs require electrical work that precisely matches the new layout and the intended use of the space. We coordinate with contractors, designers, and property managers to deliver clean, code compliant results on schedule. Each specialized system carries its own unique requirements, and our skilled electricians bring the focused training needed to handle them all. This depth of capability lets us serve as a single trusted source for all of your commercial electrical needs.

When your business needs commercial electrical service done right the first time, our experienced team is always ready to help.
The Importance of a Licensed Electrician for Commercial Electric in Burleson, TX
Commercial electrical work carries higher stakes than residential work in nearly every respect. A licensed electrician brings the training, testing, and experience that complex commercial systems demand. In Texas, electrical licensing is regulated by the state to protect property owners from unqualified and unsafe work. A licensed professional understands three phase power, commercial load calculations, and the distribution equipment businesses rely on. They know the commercial code requirements, fire codes, and accessibility rules that apply to your property. They pull the proper permits and coordinate the inspections that keep your project legal and documented. That documentation supports your insurance, your lease, and your certificate of occupancy when you need it most. A licensed electrician also carries the insurance that protects your business if something goes wrong. Unlicensed work may save money today and cause failed inspections, downtime, or liability tomorrow. A faulty commercial installation can endanger employees, customers, and the public who depend on the space. Wallace Electric sends only licensed, background checked technicians to every commercial job we perform. Hiring the right professional protects your business, your property, and everyone who walks through your doors.

Commonly Asked Commercial Electric Questions
Commercial electrical service raises practical questions about cost, code, capacity, and keeping a business running. The answers below address the topics business owners across Burleson ask us about most often.
Commercial and residential electrical work differ in scale, complexity, and the codes that govern them. Homes typically run on single phase power, while many commercial properties use three phase power for efficiency. Three phase power delivers electricity to heavy equipment and large motors that residential systems never handle. Commercial loads are higher, so conductors, panels, and distribution equipment are all larger and more demanding. The wiring methods differ too, with commercial work often using conduit where homes use simpler cable. These differences mean commercial work requires specialized knowledge that goes beyond residential experience. An electrician skilled in homes is not automatically equipped for commercial systems. The gap between the two is real and significant.
Code requirements also separate commercial work from residential projects. Commercial buildings must meet stricter standards for life safety systems like emergency lighting and exit signage. Inspections are more rigorous because these properties serve employees, customers, and the public. Accessibility codes apply to commercial spaces in ways they do not to private homes. Fire codes impose additional requirements on commercial wiring, alarms, and circuit protection. Documentation and permitting carry more weight, since they affect insurance and occupancy. A commercial electrician must navigate all of these layers on every project. This regulatory complexity is a defining feature of commercial work.
The stakes are higher in commercial settings as well. A power failure in a home is an inconvenience, while a failure in a business costs money every minute. Downtime can mean lost sales, spoiled inventory, and frustrated customers who may not return. Commercial systems must be reliable, resilient, and built to support continuous operation. This is why preventive maintenance plays a larger role in commercial electrical care. Wallace Electric brings the specialized training that commercial work genuinely requires. We understand both the technical and the business sides of keeping your power reliable. For commercial electrical work done right, trust our experienced team.
The cost of commercial electrical work depends heavily on the scope and complexity of the project. A small repair costs far less than a full electrical fit out of a new space. Three phase systems, large panels, and heavy equipment circuits all add to the price. The size of the building and the number of circuits involved shape the total significantly. Lighting projects vary based on the number of fixtures and the controls you choose. Specialized work like generators, EV chargers, or server rooms carries its own costs. Permit fees and inspection requirements add to commercial projects as well. Because every business and building differs, Wallace Electric provides a clear written quote before any work begins.
The condition of the existing electrical system also affects the cost. An older building may need upgrades to support modern equipment and current code. Bringing outdated wiring or panels up to standard adds to the scope of a project. We inspect the system up front so there are no surprises midway through the work. If we find issues, we explain them clearly and let you decide how to proceed. Commercial work often involves coordination with other trades, which can influence the timeline and cost. We plan carefully so the electrical work fits smoothly into the larger project. Financing options are available to help manage larger commercial investments.
The most accurate way to learn your cost is to have a licensed electrician evaluate the project. We assess your building, your existing system, and the goals of the work. We confirm the load, the code requirements, and the materials your project needs. From there, we build a transparent estimate that lists each part of the work clearly. You will know exactly what you are paying for before we begin. We never add hidden charges once the job is underway. This honest approach has earned the trust of businesses throughout Burleson. Call Wallace Electric today for an accurate commercial electrical quote.
Most commercial electrical projects in Texas require permits and inspections. Cities around Burleson, including those in Tarrant and Johnson counties, enforce these requirements closely. Commercial permits often involve more steps than residential ones because of the higher stakes. A permit triggers an inspection that confirms the work meets the National Electrical Code and local amendments. This process protects your business, your employees, and the public who use the space. Permits are essential rather than optional, especially for commercial properties. Skipping them can lead to fines, failed inspections, and serious problems with occupancy. Wallace Electric handles the commercial permitting process so you can focus on running your business.
Commercial permitting can be more involved than many business owners expect. Plans may need to be submitted and approved before work can begin on larger projects. Fire codes and life safety requirements add additional review in many cases. A licensed electrician understands which permits apply and how to navigate the local process. We pull the permits, coordinate the inspections, and meet inspectors on site when needed. This saves you time and removes the guesswork from a complex process. It also ensures the finished work carries the documentation your business requires. That paperwork matters for your insurance, your lease, and your certificate of occupancy.
Attempting commercial work without proper permits creates significant risk. Unpermitted work can halt a project, delay an opening, and trigger costly penalties. If the work fails a later inspection, you may have to redo it entirely. Insurance claims tied to unpermitted electrical work can be denied outright. The cost of permits is minor compared to these potential consequences. Wallace Electric never cuts this corner, because your business protection comes first. We manage the entire permitting and inspection process as part of our service. For commercial work that meets every requirement, trust the licensed team at Wallace Electric.
Three phase power is a type of electrical supply that delivers energy more efficiently than single phase. While homes typically use single phase power, many businesses rely on three phase for heavier loads. It uses three alternating currents that work together to provide steady, powerful electricity. This makes it ideal for large motors, heavy machinery, and demanding commercial equipment. Three phase power runs equipment more smoothly and efficiently than single phase could. It also allows larger loads to be served with smaller, more economical conductors. Many industrial and commercial machines are specifically designed to run on three phase. For these applications, three phase is not a luxury but a genuine requirement.
Whether your business needs three phase power depends on your equipment and operations. A small office with standard equipment may run perfectly well on single phase power. A warehouse, factory, or restaurant with heavy machinery often requires three phase. Large HVAC units, commercial refrigeration, and industrial motors typically demand it. If you plan to add heavy equipment, your existing supply may need an upgrade. Our electricians evaluate your equipment and your future plans to determine what you need. We assess whether your current service can support your loads or requires expansion. This evaluation prevents both under powering and unnecessary over building.
Upgrading to three phase power is a significant project that requires careful planning. The utility company plays a role, since the supply must reach your property. Our electricians coordinate the panels, conductors, and distribution equipment the system requires. We size everything to match your current loads and leave room for future growth. We handle the permitting and inspections that this kind of upgrade involves. The result is a reliable power supply built to support your operation for years. Getting three phase power right protects your equipment and your productivity. For an assessment of your power needs, contact Wallace Electric.
Reducing commercial electricity costs starts with understanding where your energy goes. Lighting, HVAC, and equipment typically account for the largest share of usage. Upgrading to energy efficient LED lighting is one of the most effective and reliable savings measures. LED fixtures use a fraction of the power of older lighting while lasting far longer. Lighting controls like occupancy sensors and timers cut waste by powering down empty spaces. These upgrades often pay for themselves through lower utility bills over time. Even small changes across a large commercial space add up to meaningful savings. The first step is identifying the biggest opportunities in your specific building.
Beyond lighting, your electrical system itself affects your energy costs. Loose connections, undersized wiring, and aging equipment all waste energy through inefficiency. A well maintained system runs cleaner and draws power more efficiently. Properly sized conductors and panels reduce the small losses that add up over time. Power factor correction can lower costs for businesses with heavy motor loads. Our electricians can evaluate your system and identify where efficiency is being lost. Addressing these issues improves both your costs and your system’s reliability. A healthy electrical system is an efficient one.
Preventive maintenance also protects your bottom line in the long run. Catching small problems early prevents the expensive failures and downtime that drain budgets. Regular inspections keep your equipment running efficiently and reliably. We offer maintenance programs tailored to commercial properties of every kind. These programs identify worn components and inefficiencies before they cost you money. Investing in maintenance and efficiency upgrades is one of the smartest moves a business can make. Wallace Electric helps you build a more efficient and dependable electrical system. For an energy saving evaluation, reach out to our team today.
If your business loses power, the first step is to stay calm and assess the situation. Check whether the outage affects only your property or the surrounding area as well. If neighboring businesses also lost power, the issue likely lies with the utility company. If only your property is dark, the problem is probably within your electrical system. Look at your main breaker and panel to see whether a breaker has tripped. A single tripped breaker affecting one area is different from a complete loss of power. Avoid repeatedly resetting a breaker that will not hold, since that signals a real fault. Knowing the scope of the outage helps determine the right response.
A complete loss of power to your property requires professional attention quickly. The problem could lie in the main panel, the service entrance, or the utility connection. These are not areas for untrained hands, since they carry dangerous voltage. A failed main breaker, a damaged panel, or a service fault can all cause a full outage. Our electricians diagnose commercial power failures rapidly to get you running again. We trace the problem to its source and repair it safely and correctly. Speed matters in a commercial outage, since every minute can cost your business. This is exactly why we offer around the clock emergency service.
Preventing future outages is just as important as fixing the current one. Many commercial power failures trace back to issues that maintenance could have caught early. A backup generator can keep critical operations running even during a utility outage. Surge protection guards your equipment against the spikes that often follow power problems. Regular inspections identify the weak points before they fail at the worst moment. We help businesses build resilience into their electrical systems through smart planning. Reducing downtime protects your revenue and your reputation alike. If your business loses power, call Wallace Electric for fast, reliable emergency service.
Commercial electrical systems should be inspected regularly to stay safe and reliable. Most businesses benefit from a professional inspection at least once a year. High demand operations with heavy equipment may need more frequent attention. The right schedule depends on your building, your equipment, and how hard your system works. Older buildings often require closer monitoring than newer construction. An inspection catches small problems before they grow into costly failures. Regular checks also keep your system compliant with current code and safety standards. Consistent inspections are a cornerstone of responsible commercial property management.
A thorough commercial inspection covers many parts of your electrical system. Our electricians examine panels, breakers, connections, and distribution equipment for wear and damage. We check for loose connections, overheating, and corrosion that could lead to failure. We test life safety systems like emergency lighting and exit signage for proper function. We confirm the system is properly grounded and that loads remain within safe limits. We look for outdated or unsafe components that should be addressed. This comprehensive review gives you a clear picture of your system’s health. You receive honest findings and clear recommendations after every inspection.
Regular inspections deliver real value to a business over time. They reduce the risk of unexpected outages that disrupt your operations and revenue. They extend the life of your equipment by catching problems early. They support your insurance and help demonstrate due diligence in maintaining your property. They keep your system compliant, which matters during audits and lease reviews. Many businesses fold inspections into a broader maintenance program for convenience. We offer maintenance plans tailored to commercial properties across Burleson. For a thorough commercial electrical inspection, trust the team at Wallace Electric.
